About Camuy
Camuy sits in the north's karst country, where limestone has dissolved over millions of years to form one of Puerto Rico's rarest landscapes: mogotes, sinkholes, caves, and an underground river. The Parque de las Cavernas del Río Camuy, government-run, is the formal entry — guided tours, platforms, the Tres Pueblos sinkhole. Almost nothing in the Caribbean compares.
Outside the caves, Camuy is a quiet north-coast town neighboring Hatillo and Quebradillas. Plaza, church, houses. The interesting stuff is almost all outside the town center — for nature lovers, the karst justifies everything.

MemoryMy niece saw the Tres Pueblos sinkhole and went silent for two full minutes. That silence is worth the trip.

Local GemDrive the side roads between Camuy and Lares. Mogotes, small rivers, farms. PR-22 shows you none of this.
