About Orocovis
Orocovis is called "Heart of Puerto Rico" because it sits at the island's exact geographic center — equidistant from the four cardinal points. The geography is entirely mountainous: green hills, small rivers, scattered farms, no coast for kilometers in any direction.
Toro Verde, the adventure park with one of the world's longest ziplines ("El Monstruo," over 2 kilometers), brought serious adventure tourism to town. For calmer plans, Doña Juana peak and the Toro Negro State Forest offer trails and broad-view overlooks. Orocovis is the literal center of the country, and it feels that way.

MemoryDid El Monstruo zipline at Toro Verde with my sister. Two and a half kilometers in the air. When I landed I hugged her crying. That can't be bought.
