About Santa Isabel

Santa Isabel sits on Puerto Rico's south coast, between Salinas and Juana Díaz. It's known as the capital of the Puerto Rican paso fino — the island's most prestigious horse breed, raised and trained here since the 19th century. The town hosts horse shows and exhibitions year-round. Beyond horses, Santa Isabel has quiet beaches (Boca Velázquez, Punta Petrona), plantain farms, and a human-scale town center with a historic plaza. Coastal and farming traditions side by side.

My family has bred paso fino in Santa Isabel for four generations. Every new colt is my grandfather's dream continuing. This isn't work, it's identity.
