About Las Piedras
Las Piedras sits in eastern Puerto Rico, between Humacao and Juncos, in a green valley. The town is known as the capital of artisanship — here they carve the famous wooden Three Kings, vejigante masks, traditional instruments like the cuatro and güiro. Every December the Artisans' Fair draws buyers from across the island. Beyond the art, Las Piedras has strong agricultural roots and a small-scale historic center, perfect for walking and meeting artists in their workshops.

Ana
MemoryMy grandfather carved Three Kings in Las Piedras. When he died I inherited his tools. Every December I go to the fair and see young artisans with the same focused look my old man had. This doesn't get lost.
